Bequests
A bequest is a gift, or item or asset in our community. Unrestricted bequests are especially valuable as many of the funds that Our City Forest received are restricted to capital goods.
Our City Forest needs pruners, trucks, pots and other capital items, but we also need to be able to support our staff, pay utilities including the water that helps to keep our young trees strong and sustainable
Endowment
If you are passionate about one part of Our City Forest’s operations or programs. Work with OCF to create an endowment that will be used based on your wishes.
Beneficiary Designation Gifts
A beneficiary designation gift is a flexible and affordable way to make a gift. You can designate us as a beneficiary of a retirement, investment or bank account or your life insurance policy.
Real Estate Gifts
Appreciated property, held longer than one year, qualifies as a charitable deduction; and you avoid paying a capital gains tax.
